The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 泪流满面，太久没看音乐剧了，心跳加速，想念可以去剧院看引进剧的日子
可惜因为疫情错过了现场观看的机会 这个角度切入这个故事的改编 真的让人无法释怀
偶然翻阅截图相册，发现疫情前期已有小道消息说剧组要来华巡演，那时的期待如歌曲本身一般昂扬热切。孤岛壁垒被打破，大洋之上是平等众生共同奏响的波西米亚狂想曲，灯光汇聚每一角落，借由新时代流媒，远渡重洋的温暖故事，在这个似乎重蹈覆辙的严冬给人以鼓舞。

这个音乐剧太好看了，整个舞台布置迅速，人物转换极快。小小的场地展现了飞机内外的状况，纽芬兰镇里居民临阵不乱的布置安排，还有酒吧，休息室各处人物的惊疑，耐心，惶恐，热心，无奈，随心。他们唱歌好听，台词道来令人确信煞有其事。喜欢女机长的讲演，从梦想到成为有资历的机长，突破性别观念，勇于挑战的样子英姿飒爽。舞台小，内容展现那样丰富，每个演员都值得观众鼓掌观众，还有阴影处的乐队，把氛围烘托恰到好处，这就是舞台剧的魅力吧，大家共同努力一起营造在另一个世界，让观众看到，听到，感动到。
二十年前从电视新闻的报道或身边同学瞎聊而有的经历，十年前的懵懂发芽，五年前才开始接触相关纪录片，二十年后新的故事一样。角度不错，随时都可以投屏再看，再看看。 in Mar-2022

戲劇節奏太好了，內容也很豐富，有溫情有恐懼有隔閡有反思，不同的人可以看到不同的東西。
看完之后又去回顾了下911事件 窒息和难受
岛民们都好善良可爱。比天灾可怕的是人祸，愿世界和平。

因为疫情产生了文本外的现实主义价值 又由于喜剧结尾在今年回归了浪漫主义 其角色具这两种精神为一身 so beautiful
