剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     这一部疫情题材的电影着重的范围就比较小，对于清晰深刻的刻画矛盾是有优势的。但导演还是比较克制隐忍，除了结尾怼着镜头喊的那一段，其他对疫情中矛盾的刻画都集中在疗养院的工作、在与急救中心和警察的沟通中，以及用主角照顾病人，疲于奔命后的崩溃和无助来传达大时代下渺小个人的主观情感，朱迪科莫的表演很有说服力。不过Sarah和Tony的感情来得比较意外，或许可以理解为底层可怜人的互相依偎吧。
