The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 稍微有点触动的是中间分手一段，争吵及关系的崩塌和后来以此改编成的演出唱段交叉呈现，情境基调的反差高效带出主题性。至于其他和整体……听听歌就好了。
去吧，去过一个被爱被梦想去驱动的人生吧，这很老掉牙，但总比躺平棒！听到了吗，人生的倒计时一刻不停……
片中有很多眼熟的音乐剧演员献唱，但轮到加菲就断崖式下跌。
半自传式呈现音乐剧作家的艺术人生。故事和音乐都不太出色。
因为不是百老汇粉丝，所以触动不是很大，无非就是梦想与现实作斗争的故事，主线很单薄，包括一些生活困境也就是没交上电费在餐馆打工这样的设定，都仰仗音乐出色以及演员卖力表演，倒数计时既是快到而立之年的时间警示，如今看又是男主短暂生命的预言，加菲唱得还不错，前女友石头姐靠音乐片得影后，看他自己能不能冲个影帝提名。

故事有质感，但歌曲整体而言稍逊了一筹。这个和Rent给我的观感是大致一样的。就这部电影而言，另一个问题在于，最好听的歌和最重要的几场戏，没能搭配起来。当然要解决这个问题，已经超出了电影创作者的能力范畴了。除此之外，都还算不错。
《Come To Your Senses》好聽！
开篇很棒。作为传记电影，材料编织甚至做到了让观众能理解“生平+编剧叙事”双结构的程度，这一点相当不错。
传记电影不容易过脑
以一处音乐剧的形式讲述一个音乐剧届的传奇，恰到好处。另，也想问个问题，是不是有年龄焦虑的人都注定命途多舛？
好一般… 白男first world problems+look我有minority friends。太奇怪了 不知道是剧本有改动还是咋回事 很难想象rent的作者写出这么自怜自艾的东西…
石头姐有《爱乐之城》，现在加菲有《倒数时刻》了。其实开始有点get不到这个略神经质的拉森，但后半集完全被感动了，幻想女友演唱那首泳池里憋出的单曲，还有和michael的神仙友谊，以及最后跟女友的重逢都很戳。加菲把一个有点jerk的艺术家塑造的很好
电影和小说的失落者仿佛永远都会获得成功，
