The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 91高龄的东木，年纪在那了，表演的状态很勉强，说说台词就够完成任务的样子。
感觉就是披着亚当斯一家的设定外皮，内里还是合家欢的迪士尼式家庭喜剧，完全没了真人版的那种独特了。

6.5/10。「真正的牛仔，即便到90岁也依然有姑娘投怀送抱。」东木依然是那个孤独的、喜欢絮叨的老牛仔，可惜精神矍铄难掩岁月无情，往常的夫子自道也开始变得温情甚至是温吞。只是这次，看到他最后选择走进咖啡馆的时候，告别一位过去的救世主还是令人别样伤感。
