The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 其实还挺有可看性的。一个极有耐心的作家花了十几年的时间慢慢折磨女主，就因为他会错了意。
作为一个基本发生在封闭空间内的悬疑动作片，摄影很好，警察局的美术设计也不错，所有演员都在线，女主角也撑住了全场。迷你版《五路追杀令》+《血溅十三号警署》。
挺喜欢这种节奏的电影，循环递进层层深入，但这电影质量本身就差了。

提线者几无动作的木偶戏，专心于摆出空洞僵硬的pose，偶尔植入jump scare般的情节或场面增添几分滑稽。非常罕见的电影。真的希望有高人能讲好。

挺能理解这种人走到生命的尽头百无聊赖心如死灰的状态的，不想解释不愿解释放任自流，飘到哪是哪的。其实在接到他们母亲已故噩耗时，罗斯和甘斯布的表现就已经埋下了伏笔，一个歇斯底里无法控制情绪的崩溃，一个沉着冷静毫不惊慌（只因为他已置身在其中已不恐惧），阴冷而疏离，一切都是那么虚无苍白，结尾的空镜好评。

一看就是计划人为，不是巧合天怒。妥妥的邪恶在上。女主没啥错，有反转就好了。

很像一个反对metoo运动的洗脑片。“我只不过是性骚扰你而已，你居然小题大做。你看最后倒霉的是你自己吧，害死家人害死自己，我还不是找到更年轻貌美的小女孩做代替品，不要太爽歪歪哦”。看毕就觉得metoo一点也不极端了，嗯，还是威慑力不够

看完后真的想骂娘（甚至还不如《新秩序》），不过属于Franco正常发挥，大概也是《慢性》各种意义上的“精神续作”（or 故技重施？）。如果把刻意掩藏的信息前置，整部片都不成立了，把电影创作核心依赖于关键信息的隐藏，其唯一目的只是操纵不知情的观众心理，和任何表达都毫无关系，更不用说片中那些幼稚肤浅的调度和符号象征。
