The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很出色也很温柔的电影。这一群电影人，精明的圆滑的见钱眼开的胆小怯懦的，但都不失善良，唯一的女性角色有好几处、虽然每处只有两三句台词，都说出女性的心声。一群男人围绕一个美女，不油腻不下流，感觉还挺好的。
有些地方确实能让人发笑，但更多时候我却只是在叹气。好在几处反转比较奏效，而片尾的部分或多或少也能看到导演的野心。
如果戏谑沉重，那讽刺就会变得轻浮浅薄。
情感真挚，叙事平缓，中间插了一些档案化的胶卷镜头很是好评。在静静流淌的塞纳河畔，希望我们都能找到心灵的皈依。
