The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 摄影上自然光的运用很出色，但过于有板有眼，配乐聒噪，叙事悬念铺垫还可以，故事矛盾产生的自然，但未在叙事中解决，而是用公路手法转移注意力浅尝辄止，拿来和巴里林登对比会发现缺陷很明显，到了后半段简直灾难，已经是在圆一个故事，结尾莫名其妙，导演悟性的问题

很多剪辑破坏了延续的诗意，一股子想要拍出epic的味道，但是呢，epic的错觉其实是配乐造成的(哦，还有那些摄影）。问题是，它的配乐真的太吵了呀，感觉就没停过，如果只在一些“传说”段落出现那还尚可。所以这种所谓的史诗感在全片到处都能感觉到一点，很多时候甚至替代了语言，与五花八门的摄影和特效一起堆成了视觉奇观，我只想说：哇哦！
