The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 一位中年美国妇女如何走出丧夫孤地。赵婷对性格偏执的人物很痴迷，前作《骑士》中因骑马几乎弊命但仍不愿放弃的骑手，本片中沉沦丧夫阴影一直遇到脱离孤岛机会又屡次选择独自上路的女人。两片都是在“要不要放弃”的进退两难中纠结，最终都以找到心中答案而走出藩篱。人生是一场接一场的告别，但永远都不要说永别，只要在路上，总会在某个无依之地遇到最美的记忆。
整体挺chill out，通俗版Terrence Malick能成新一代的鸡汤配方倒是没想到。

看了开头，因为剧情太慢没看下去。睡前竟然又惦记起来，想知道她怎么克服那些终会将人磨平的荒芜，但是却看到，有的人是不得不选择游牧。人行天地间，忽如远行客。

游牧是跟着草，现代游牧是跟着一个个的季节性打工点……一个第一人称的放不下故事，但是公路真的是走捷径了……
太有同感了。生命该是流动的，我却困住了。等待一个可以任由思绪松弛下来的时刻。需要一段时间什么都不做，准确地说还是要干点儿什么，就是思考。
配乐太妙了……
蛮令人唏嘘的。就，年轻人的嬉皮生活还容易加浪漫化滤镜，对中老年人来说觉得太苦了。老年还能乐观忍受这种生活的人，是真的生命力顽强。（窝一个奔四的人看了都觉得受不了 感觉老年如果没有钱 就是排气管一堵的事儿/而有钱的话 根本不想在意是否需要活到老年）
