The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 背景讲的是911事件，航班滞留纽芬兰小镇上的故事。同班演员，既是小镇居民又是航班乘客。不同的角色就有不同的感觉，一秒切换毫无违和，演员太棒了。另外故事的表达也是很立体的，贴近现实。虽然因事件会带来偶然的美好，但事件产生的影响不会轻易消灭。
机长的演唱太精彩了，印象最深刻的一个角色，演技很棒，寓意也很好，非常有爱的一部音乐剧
当生活被灾难按下了暂停键，内心的某些地方会变得不同，也许是感恩生活，也许是增加仇恨。没有人在灾难中一无所获。台上的演员高矮胖瘦都有，岛民和乘客身份随时切换，非常出彩。

我记得第一次看是在第一次艺考的那个冬天看的现场盗摄版，北京下了初雪，我躲在被窝里看这部剧，心里充满了对舞台的向往，然后情不自禁地流泪，至今我仍然觉得小成本音乐剧的成功典范就应该参考它，绝妙。

我想在global pandemia面前这部剧的意义无需多言，在这个时间点放出官摄我哭到时代广场都有回声。
“永葆热爱，永怀善良，永远温柔”仍然是我们面对残酷最好的武器。
音乐歌舞都非常精彩。很有力量。有时热血沸腾。有时温暖感人。很抓人情感。
真正需要我们重视的东西，在come from away里面就展现出来了，灾难后，也许世界没有变得更好，歧视和战争还在，但我们更应该向这些islanders学习，不去想权谋和观点的碰撞，只有you’ve done the same. 经历过疫情发生的小城，当地人以自己的方式，不忍心医护人员吃泡面，从自家备好鸡鸭给他们送去。are we going to do the same?
我太喜欢这部音乐剧了，充满了人文关怀，让欢乐和感动交融。这个在911发生之后，飞机上的人们和住在gander的人们相遇相识然后产生交集的美好故事，让一场灾难变得不那么悲伤。这部音乐剧并没有过分哀伤，而是有喜有悲，正是在灾难中让人性的光辉更加夺目耀眼。很多事情并不全是坏事，我们总要在黑暗中找到那一丝微光。

在恐怖主义袭击全球的环境中，来自一个陌生小镇的温情和善良简直让人倍感温馨动容，人性多么糟糕，人性又是多么美好。20年后，在全球矛盾越发冲突的当下，仍在疫情中挣扎的我们同样渴望着这样一抹来自远方的温暖，来自每个人的友好与关怀，尽力给别人带去力量吧。
西安疫情lockdown，楼下大喇叭里“请大家保持距离 防止交叉感染” 萦绕不停。面前荧幕里的人们高歌“I’m an islander. I’m an islander.”眼睛里是不容忽视的、充满生命力的光。会好的，我坚信。

在听到大家唱歌的时候我没哭。只是看到大家在经历灾难之后，仍然笑着交谈的时候，我就泪流满面。
