The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 题材多匮乏才又来折腾麦克白啊？！摄影什么的都很棒，黑白影像和“悲剧”也很搭，可是故事太家喻户晓了，实在也玩不出什么花样了。倒是丹泽尔·华盛顿和弗兰西丝·麦克多蒙德演技很过人。

当莎士比亚遇见造型主义，适合电影院观看，基本上就是搞视觉奇观那一套，张艺谋应该会喜欢。再次申明，本人，十分想看杜琪峰拍麦克白！
字面意义的好看，但内容和形式存在一种割裂感。"I am in this earthly world, where to do harm is often laudable, to do good sometime accounted dangerous folly."

高纬的日光真的还蛮像舞台追光效果的。语法其实还蛮统一的，幻像与预兆全都来自光的变形，除此之外就真的很怀疑还在用这个文本玩什么。Frances McDormand的表演跟这部难得地非常配搭，“演给你看”的过度表演刚好提供了造作的面部与体态的形状。
构图和调色都很棒，戳爷也太好看了，多多演电影吧！
除了色调、troye的脸和歌以外都真的很不行啊，就这还能7.2？我拜托了……把一些青春片拍烂了的话题全部放进去一锅炖，故事节奏迷惑，跟印度哥毫无cp感。
转场切题：主角问how long，下一秒镜头切到他骑自行车的背影，粉色的巨大标题"three months"出现
科恩嫂什么时候重回舞台？喜见Bertie Carvel
凯莱布（戳爷）对酒吧某个男子一见钟情后，和他迅速发生了关系。
看预告以为会非常棒，但实际上三女巫戏份之外都有点无聊……形式大于内容，像是低配版的伯格曼。全员都有种表演痕迹过重的感觉，科恩婶的麦克白夫人更是意外地不戳我……
虽然片名上做了改动，但剧本其实是极为正统的莎翁剧作，所以试图从本片中解读出更多释义是困难的。影像风格可能是与之前几部麦克白电影最大的区别：荒野和室内景大量采用对称式构图；走廊上的门洞光影恰如一排剑阵；奇幻与现实无缝衔接；黑白摄影的另一个优点是弱化了肤色的差异，所以黑麦也显得不那么违和了。
去影院前特意看了剧情简介，然后不出所料地基本没听懂。
