A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.
Flodders (1986) is available on DVD in Germany in a dubbed German version in Dolby Digital 5.1. under the name:

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

4/5 | 对一个正常社会而言，平庸之恶的出现当然百害而无一利。但对归附于不道德体制的个体而言，ta总能凭借体制赋予自身的他者化冷漠，形成某种程度的自圆其说，而解除个人在道德层面的反思。万湖会议某种意义上就是平庸之恶的集中反映和体现。
活着实属偶然 死亡才是必然 不过老哥你着死得有点冤 真是荒诞呀
任何动荡的年代都有怀才不遇的人 人生就是存在着很多的不确定 明天和意外哪个先来谁也不知道 我们现在这么小心的生活着又和那个动荡的年代有什么区别 稳定的工作带来了稳定的收入 而处处小心到处限制又怎么让我们去享受这收入呢？
这会开得真的是解决问题，既优雅又高效。仿佛在讨论一个工作流程！
十分现实主义的影片搭配了一个非常“荒诞”的结局，合理怀疑导演偷懒，但除此之外也很难想象有什么更适合的结局了，除非影片直接停在学校或回家，3个小时真的过长，后边那段其实多余
确实是“不合时宜的人”。摄影满分，色彩极佳。最近看的片子越来越像自己，做不了婊子又要立牌坊，抛不开撒不下，自欺能力强到登天，肯为五斗米折腰，活到最后也没输出像样的价值，人就在这样的状态中行步入中年。活着究竟为了什么？
严谨又优雅地讨论着恐怖程序，1100万生命15人花两小时决定，跨部门区域合作的效率巅峰。杀小孩是帮助了反正都没了父母的他们，有混血血统的做绝育免伤家人感情，动态清零
4.5。大厦将倾，熟悉的癫狂味道，终于一天后想起了是和《歌厅》一模一样。汤姆希林的超脱气质太适合这里了，在浮躁到即将沸腾的社会，做一个截断众流的“清醒”。最后那段等不到的爱人，实在真实又打人，很享受。
直到最后，累了，走了，逃离这个陌生陆离的城市，回到童年的家乡。只是过往的人和事一直折磨着千疮百孔的心，连最明媚的阳光也驱散不开。
看到一半就喜欢，看完了更喜欢。不管是什么时代，我们当中还是需要有人会像fabian一样说：“我的另一份工作是生活”。可把这份工作做好是多不容易啊……
其实出现在很多时刻，讨论种族、性别、地域、年龄等时都会出现，仿佛人是个数据，是面小白旗，是口头里的不如去死，我们在任何场合贴的任何标签，都是为了一些子认同，一些子流量，一些子权力，一些子发泄，我们坐在这里针锋相对，勉力敲桌，会后的房间里说着要是孩子们在夏天能一起在这里游泳就好了，人啊，冷酷温情，荒诞正经，只希望自己存活于世时不被不认可的所吞噬，人对得起自己，其他自有评定之说~~
怎么看都不像这个时代的片子，导演是从任何一个角度来陈述一段发生在上个世纪的故事。人生之不如意十有八九，不肯向命运低头的人们，常常发现自己的执着，到最后一无所有。
它是电影，它更是部魏玛时代的人类社会学的研究作品。180分钟每一帧都透着现实肉溅的血腥味儿，每一句台词都需深思片刻才能悟出答案，很深刻更意犹未尽（如“生活是我第二份工作）…临近片尾时莫名地感到忧虑和感伤，不知道为谁？还是为了什么？可能芸芸万物都相似吧…影片中有两处细节久久很难逃避，1、三处出现留声机播放音乐，瞬间把人带到另一个时空，或遐想或遮掩什么（音效处理得极为恰当好处）；2、则是妓女们抱起自杀好友的头用白手帕裹住其脖子，顿时有点想哭的感觉（尊重死者的尊严竟然出自妓女之手）…也许此片没有讲什么深刻道理，但它揭示的各色人等的日常是真实的，深刻的！
活着只是侥幸，死亡才是必然。
这是一部有灵光的电影，一个荒诞的时代发生什么都不会让人惊讶，但还好还有爱情
科妮莉亚，她放弃了前途在每周三等待爱人，而她的爱人死在了那个充满希望的早晨，死在了他即将踏上火车前的几十分钟前，死的那么匪夷所思…他们再也不会相见
导演还是差点意思，影片的艺术性基本在台词上，虽然思想高度足以5星，最终只能4星
