麦克白是一个阴郁的故事，这次乔尔科恩用电影语言重新翻译了它。7分给到极度风格化的摄影，黑白明暗对照，布景和打光突出的犀利线条。转场换景的调度，既有电影艺术提供的光影质感，又有舞台剧艺术的庄严，但男女主的表演有点盛名之下其实难副。
