《北海》的故事设定在挪威，在一次钻井平台事故中，专家发现挪威海岸存在塌陷隐患，共计350座钻井平台存在着损毁的可能，为了最大限度避免环境污染，石油公司开展了全规模的钻井封闭和人员撤离。作为营救类电影，《北海》算是中规中矩，但在俄乌关系的当下，这部电影的意义就有些微妙的感觉了。
