The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 演员教科书式的表演很精彩，但是站在剧情的角度扣一星，在我看来这不是最好的解决方案。
终于在英国当了新唐顿屯的第一波观众！！（周围观影的全是白发苍苍的老头老太）可以说依然是回馈剧粉的“福利型电影”，有笑有泪的“合家欢”。剧情本身不值五星，但情怀值得十星。
拍电影这个情节真不错，不用看庄园里的人吵来吵去但又有足够的喜剧冲突。很温暖，即便“We're orphans at last”。
角度还挺好，默片到有声电影也是new era。没想到之前的默片还有现场奏乐。小火车的感情戏剪了显得最后的告别有点突兀

面面俱到，入情入理。一部真正在唐家屯拍大电影的唐顿大电影，用对默片时代的祭奠映衬庄园一家的新生，对逝去的隐忧与真正的逝去、隔代间的发乎情止乎礼等几组映照扎实得无懈可击。无论对于大电影本身还是剧集IP而言，都是一场盛大而优雅的谢幕。

目前为止最喜欢的一个主题
太喜欢这部电影的设定了。我会嫉妒，会愤怒，但你能代替我，爱下去，照顾我的家人。我知道家人爱我，爱的是因为我们共同的经历，共同的喜怒哀乐而产生感情的我，所以能在克隆基地安静等待死去。而我的灵魂仍在世上，他做得比我还要好，这是最有意义的延续。

从4月初因为置身县城，唯一影院关停而丧失了影院消费习惯后，直至5月底才看到这个。绝对是困难时期以优秀故事让人情感满足的好片。A New Era始终好过past
