The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一部教育亲情片，寓意很好，但表达太过诡异，北欧恐怖片的一贯作风，小清新和重口味之间相互转化。鸟是女儿的险恶面，当善良被家长扼杀时，剩下的就只剩邪恶。父母总是太过要求自己孩子做到完美，最终培养成没有感情的动物。

可以给到7分，这片子不算恐怖片，或者至少应该是披着科幻背景的恐怖片

关于身体的对抗的故事，小女孩的演技真好，据说是首次出演电影 一人分饰两角....情节其实并不恐怖，这个电影定义为科幻可能更准确。
挺失望的，感觉改编的很奇怪，真人出演也是很硬拗
全家长得不太聪明的样子，充满了中产的刻板印象和危机
小时候一本《鲁西西传》看了十几遍、只要是和小伙伴一起玩微缩的过家家玩具都要幻想着要是能有罐头小人进去住就好了，电影拍的是一言难尽，三十几岁的人了为儿时情怀浪费了一个小时，毕竟受众群体是12岁以下的儿童…
Body horror的展现好像深得柯南伯格亲传，客体又是女孩，自然引发更强的恐惧体验。母题是非常传统的控制-反抗主干，爱的畸变比怪物更可怖。双重孵化关系，母亲失败，女儿成功，代价无可逆转，结局的安排充满宿命般的悲剧色彩，但表现手法稚嫩且单薄，没能增添悲剧的厚重感。
长期吸收女儿负面情绪的蛋，而女儿「本体」则是吸收强势母亲移情一种载体。
