The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 后半段挺嗨的，结尾也有意思，顺带调侃了时事政治与好莱坞，连北欧大力推进的新能源汽车也有梗。
挺意外的电影，感觉继承了昆汀的衣钵，无论是剧情、表演，还是镜头美学，都让人看到的昆汀的恶趣味。
3.5★~血腥搞笑无厘头，还有哪位不穿衣服姐妹能抗拒“马鞭”呢~
夫妻各怀鬼胎去旅行，计划杀死对方骗保，结果遇到逃狱三人组，一番争斗后顺利反杀。逃狱的三人不如叫搞笑三人组吧，智商捉鸡
中规中矩吧，不太有爽到。整体还是挺风格化的，把死亡之雪、猎杀星期一那股血腥暴力感延续下去，红脸蛋，口吐血沫，整体的喜剧效果较前两部更佳。开场无聊的婚姻乏味，到互杀的快感，两人互相绑住后的互喷与吵架，再到小将的加入和stop it的被误杀。再到三人悍匪的加入，整个黑色幽默感十足，螳螂捕蝉黄雀在后的多线加入挺有意思。Gay气的Dave Big Dick，治腿伤那段笑抽了。被爆菊和随地shit的小哥。中间地下室那段拍的很猛烈，很考验演员的演技，两人紧张的抽搐和悍匪无情的蹂躏感全都拍出来了。最后部分就是互抽的血腥动作片，两个主角被暴揍性能拉满，老爸果然是战争民族的风格，吐槽新能源车那段也是精准毒舌到位。最后也以一个戏谑再拍电影的方式黑色收尾。许多细节上的搞笑，秃头与暴力女。流血的婚姻，拙劣的生活演技。
夫妻俩都有什么时候了还要相互冷嘲热讽，全程既傻还爽又好笑！北欧人民真是抗打哈哈哈哈哈
被小男人男主气死，老爹纯爷们可惜了，结尾影射好莱坞黑人选角nice
全程有痛感。还是女人更易心软，船上lisa若松手倒是个不错的结局。结尾讽刺效果不错。
不管怎么说，维克托这个路人还是死了
各种元素都具备，反转 喜剧 血浆 好看。
喜剧的内核是现实，抉择时刻，一系列权衡在飞速计算，爆笑又真实，所以小金库是真是诈，想问也不能问，事发经过，能说也不可说。
男主被抢指着头，无不敢不从的怂。
维京人果然是很能打的，就是老爷爷死得太可惜了唉
这是一部值得多看几遍的电影，看一遍是绝对不够的。
最后那个好莱坞翻拍的点子太灵光了，本来除了男主以外，这片子汇聚了大男子主义者、女权、反社会者、同志、新纳粹这五大角色，就数男主没啥意思，好莱坞一翻拍=政治彻底正确，意思一下就有了~
前一个小时简直五星，拍出两杆大烟枪的感觉，后半小时就跟换了一个编剧一样。

前半个小时看得我昏昏欲睡，要不是好奇为什么会到7.5这么高分，我还真坚持不下去。结果后面各种反转，终于把基准线拉了上来，最后小俗套了一下，不过还好。想看的童鞋们一定要坚持看完前半小时，还不能跳，因为有铺垫。挪威语，臣妾是真的一个字也听不懂啊，臣妾做不到啊……
有两段剧情真妙，一是逃犯试图强奸那段，我不厚道地笑了，二是结尾的黑人。剧情上最不合理地方是逃犯们在第一晚夫妻睡觉时，就可以控制局面了，偏偏没有行动。忽略这点，整体算是还可以的动作血腥爽片。看完还是觉得男主不靠谱，他居然拉了个第三方的人加入，这人太无辜太倒霉了。
看得⋯特別開心和過癮。心情隨著編劇的狗血腦洞起伏不止。低級殺人計畫的較量和血腥笨拙的打鬥，讓不合理的戲劇化變得更加有真實性。和老公一起看的，讓接近尾聲的元旦假期夜晚迴盪著放肆的大笑。🍷👹🦴
