The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 前半段还是挺有意思的，尤其是女主昏迷20年醒来后，若有若无的带出对所谓政治正确和白左的粉讽刺和映射还是很好玩的，不过后半段后有些俗套，有点某名奇妙了。
了解了一段历史，但是电影有点无聊。下次拍成个纪录片试试
不错的电影，虽然属于传记片，但是故事还是比较简单的，一个不良少年，一个支离破碎的家，一身毛病，天天打架的人，为了追求女孩，加入天主教，最后成为一个虔诚的神父。导演通过很多喜剧元素加入到一个其实挺沉重挺严肃的电影中，让这样的传记片电影不在沉闷。同时让整部电影都形成对应和对比。混混变神父，喜剧对应严肃的宗教。开始小孩轻盈的舞蹈对应最后主人翁肌肉萎缩，生活不能自理。导演利用前后对应的关系，让整部电影更完整更充实。看完会轻轻感叹，之前每个镜头都有她的用意。
