The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 爆米花电影嘛，再加上女主终于熬出头了加一星，恭喜朱迪科默。
打着热爱游戏的旗号宣传回归真实生活老老实实跟同事谈恋爱，好莱坞制造远渡重洋感动中国。（事业飞速上升几年后的塔导明显膨胀了，在成为好莱坞包贝尔之前请及时收手。）
前面真的特别欢腾，典型的弹幕电影，就应该一堂子人一起哈哈哈地乐。但反派真的太蠢太弱了，而且这爱情来得太快也太像龙卷风了。
有点好玩，不算无聊，没有打游戏的爱好所以感觉没有那么投入。PS：其实如果你喜欢死侍，恰好也喜欢死侍小贱贱风格（恰好此片少不了小贱贱），还喜欢《杀死伊芙》里面的朱迪·科默，那就会比较喜欢此片了，他们的CP很奈斯。
配乐我真的很喜欢，剧情就是美好的一塌糊涂的爽文，另外传送门枪和重力枪是没拿到V社版授权吗？如果是原版传送枪我愿意无脑满分。
一次对未来AI的理想化尝试与情感演绎 以及片中的傻多戴alienware vs 灯厂razer blade
没什么负担的纯娱乐片，所以也没必要试图在这样的片子里寻找意义和深度。不过不知道为什么，观影情绪总觉得差一口气，没有那种很爽的感觉，搞笑的部分也不太够。感情线更是看得我？？？结局爱情线的处理太草率了吧？我还以为会针对这部分稍微深入一下来着，有点失望。特效真的很漂亮，有很强烈的游戏感，这点我觉得是最优秀的地方了。可能是因为头号玩家拉高了我的期待值，这部稍稍感觉不够劲儿。【7.8】
7.9分，电影立意不错，只是风格略浮夸了，不是很适应。在电影院打工时让父母进场看过，他们觉得胡编乱造，这就是没有玩过《罪恶都市》《虐杀原形》的局限性了。太多数豆瓣人都觉得像《楚门的世界》《头号玩家》，其实我却觉得戴不戴墨镜跟吃不吃《黑客帝国》里的药丸立意类似。
众星客串加密集彩蛋也无法拯救稚气无聊的剧情，不如改名叫「找彩蛋」
本以为AI觉醒会演变成为底特律变人，还期待这群AI是否会走进真实世界，结果结局是什么鬼，蓝衬衫居然可以放下感情继续留在这个虚拟游戏世界？
一直希望朋友们明白，虽然我是游戏玩家，但我对游戏题材的电影一点都不感兴趣。从绘画电影再到游戏，艺术门类越新则表现渠道越多元，越旧的优势则是往往更古雅。用旧门类手法表示新门类主题，只会失去表现渠道的多样性，但绝对不会变得古雅起来，双输。但本片还是不错的，主题是讨论自由意志、和基于自由意志的生活意义，游戏只是借以表达的一个舞台。俗套不算多。对当下游戏环境和多数玩家心态的批判，我也持类似的态度
男女主选角太好！剧情特效很赞！这样的电影一定要在电影院看呀！
比头号玩家差点，npc的世界浓浓的楚门的世界的感觉，背景亮得不真实
初看是拒绝stoic，结尾却是人生剧本早已写定，非常的Epictetus。
相比楚门土拨鼠明日边缘等等更接近《乐高大电影》，大设定、人物本质上是完全相同的，不过桥段处理的都不一样，撞梗不撞戏吧。观影体验非常好，爆米花大片要是都能是这个水准就好了

迪士尼就是干啥都不彻底，既然都把AI当真人认同了，母胎单相思设定的纯良AI遇到真爱之后觉醒了升级了，看到那个激活吻我都飙泪了，最后还是劝爱人找真人男朋友，世上只有基友好。这是什么？是对美人鱼们的冒犯。卖腐，迪士尼版权下的乐园梗集合，衰了衰了，比《头号玩家》还是差些

最后这群AI给关进一个虚拟的岛，好像动物园一样供人参观。如果他们突然嫌弃这片土地太小太无聊呢？我觉得人类应该做的是把这台服务器从网上断开....
极度娱乐化的外观之下，是严肃的存在主义内核。
