Filming has begun for Us, BBC One’s four-part drama adapted by David Nicholls from his hugely popular novel of the same name.
Tom Hollander (Baptiste, The Night Manager) will be joined by Saskia Reeves (Luther, Shetland), Sofie Gråbøl (The Killing, Fortitude), Tom Taylor (Doctor Foster, The Dark Tower), Iain De Caestecker (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, The Fades) and Thaddea Graham (Curfew, The Letter for the King), with casting by Sarah Crowe. It is produced by Drama Republic and Bandstand Productions.
Douglas Petersen (Tom Hollander) is blindsided when his wife Connie (Saskia Reeves) tells him that she’s not sure she wants to be married to him anymore. Agreeing to still go on their planned family grand tour of Europe, Douglas vows to win back the love of his wife and repair his troubled relationship with their son Albie (Tom Taylor).
Reflecting David Nicholls' signature mix of humour and heartbreak, Us brings the Petersens' poignant and often hilarious story to life, taking viewers with them on their once-in-a-lifetime journey through some of the most beautiful cities in the world.
David Nicholls says: “It’s a huge thrill to see the novel come to life, and with such a wonderful cast and production team. We want to make something funny, touching and beautiful, to really explore marriage and family life, all against this incredible backdrop.”

It is directed by Lisa Siwe (Temple, Modus) and distributed internationally by BBC Studios. Filming will take place in London, Amsterdam, Venice, Barcelona and Paris.

印度版的勇敢的心，印度往事，印式主旋律，你能看到很多电影的影子，但也能一眼看出这就是典型的印度大片，也算是印度的超级英雄片了，两人摧毁一支军队，本质上还是一部爽片，无论是人物的塑造，气氛的渲染，分镜设计，还是节奏，完全按照典型的装逼片的模式（也好久没有看到这么老派的镜头语言了），你能猜到剧情如何发展，但你却没想到导演的下一步还能这样，特别是最后的那场大战，两人的配合还真有意思，真佩服导演的想象力，也把我看乐了，那些逻辑什么的，还重要吗哈哈哈。7.2
印度一贯的迷之自信，确实又一个造神的，看到party上两个大叔跳舞能跳几分钟，像抽筋一样，还自己觉得自己帅出天际，鸡皮疙瘩掉了一地，看不下去了
对历史不了解，看完后感到满足，人物刻画略单薄
去年看的二战战史白看了，忘光了。看这个电影感觉是英法的懦弱助长了希特勒的野心，但凡英法硬气一点，希特勒也会有所忌惮的吧……对病人妥协只能让对方得寸进尺蹬鼻子上脸。杰尼斯纽沃纳真可爱！！
两个人在慕尼黑图书馆重逢的那一幕太让我感动了！不同的思想和立场可以让两个挚友分道扬镳，可是抗争又让他们最终汇合到了一起。
竊以為題材有意思，但故事寫得不好，導演合格。
英国人拍的二战片都是把自己打扮的美美的，即使是虚构的。二战的英国就是个打酱油的角色，但在其美化下，似乎英国是二战的中流砥柱一样。
当看到身残志坚饥困交加的逼王在监狱里做引体向上的时候，我大受震撼并质问自己，还有什么理由不锻炼！？
别的都很好，只是英国人，电影可不可以不要也这么蓝。和兰心大剧院有一点异曲同工之处，兰心的原著小说马后炮得很离谱，本片很克制。兰心的角色，尤其是女性角色，比较生动，本片的女性角色好多工具人。就是说能不能合拍一个，求求了。
我们不能选择生活的时代，我们唯一的选择就是如何回应。
拉拉分。这个导演将印度神话、历史与现实结合得一如既往的牛逼。国只是个壳啊，同志们！西部精神才是内核（印度电影史常有的样子）。战狼个毛。
历史功过自用时间来评价，历史细节都有后人来勾勒
真是离谱他妈给离谱开门，离谱到家啦，但是看得我确实是爆笑，装逼装得这么认真，还装了3个小时，我都不觉得累，也只有三哥电影有这样的魔力。

因此，白人“收养”（收买）有色人种小孩，原来是“传统”呀。可能就是因为以前干多了怕出事，所以现在都收“孤儿”……观感，歌舞不太适合本片的氛围，不过可以忽略，属于插曲
真“武松打虎”式的印度抗英神剧，双男主的设定并不新鲜，加上剧情老套、打斗雷人，只能说是中规中矩的动作爽片。唯一优点就是印度一贯夺人眼球的歌舞 @Netflix

总的来说印度狼着实超越国狼。狼们嘴上说着自己最强但说电影里每每都是蝈搞白女，这怎么自信起来哦？印度版本讲殖民在格局上输给了虽远必诛的国狼，但是作为世界的一部分他们讲甘地讲火和水和自然，不过讲真，说中国导演会琢磨出片名的实在是得看看这三个r是怎么出来的，印度版本的自信就是这么随意，只要单词里有r就算是r了，不讲究什么劳什子头压尾压什么的，印度人会跳舞会不会就像中国人会功夫？充满了抖音追求的子弹时间云云，情感戏拉满，意淫真有趣，他山之石可以攻玉，想看看印度的老法师电影了。
2022.01.27. 通过本片可以补一补《慕尼黑协定》和二战前的张伯伦执政历史背景，即使没有争取到和平，《慕尼黑协定》对纳粹德国的妥协至少为英法等国争取到一年的短暂和平和缓冲、若1938年就爆发二战，历史和今天会是什么样大家都无法想象。不过历史本就没有“如果”，正如故事里的Paul von Hartmann，明明有与希特勒独处的机会并可以开枪，但他错过了。卡司上德国演员们竟然全都是大熟脸，略可惜的是《巴比伦柏林》的女主在本片戏份有些少，可见德国影视圈子真是太小了。铁叔、荞麦、Jannis三位男主都非常出色，开心见到黄金配角戏骨Alex Jennings。同样非常出色的摄影、剪辑、服装、美术、甚至Isobel Waller-Bridge的音乐，都为本片大大加分。
