The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 没有一个废镜头，每一个镜头都有新信息，每一个镜头里都在做纯视听情境的叙事动作。探一个洞穴，观一个生命，洞的尽头到了吗？生命到尽头了吗？仅两个疑问去推动紧随凝视，去做互文与观照。
有被感动到（）剧场版去掉阴影下巴真的好看太多了，以及看完很想去西班牙（）

歌还行（烂片出神曲？不过还没到神曲的地步），隔着屏幕感受到了尴尬……开始怀疑当年我为什么会追tv动画啊！
电影节就该多点这种简单又养眼的电影，看完就跟蒸了次桑拿一样神清气爽。
镜头美，喜欢的类比，是眼耳清洗剂。六几年的洞穴探险一股纯真的勇气，想有这样的纯真活到死。
3.5 得到了一个宏大的图景体验，仅此而已。哦，没有睡。
弗兰马汀诺再一次以领袖的身份宣示了慢电影的姿态。他像梭罗一样告诉我们：工业向上，电影向下。到达洞穴时那快乐的手势和死亡到来时的平静交织，最终在云雾缭绕中听到那不知从何而来的声音，像是一种天启。慢电影最终是一种超验主义。
全片没有给探洞者任何特写镜头，宁肯给纸片也不给人，这阻止了观众对探洞者的神入。

延续了《四次》的拍摄风格，静谧而广阔。但是由于叙事元素增加了，缺少了《四次》里那种世外桃源般的意境，也没有了自然万物和宇宙连通的轮回之味，但仍能感觉到时间在这里放佛停止了流淌。（BJIFF/Day12/Scene37）【三里屯】

纸片燃烧旋落入洞穴、天梯在光线中摇摆、远观草地随风一浪一浪地赶、绘制洞穴草图时反复沾墨细描……很抓人的视角和构图。
