The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 用光影和变幻的角度来表达情感，空间，时间。最喜欢手电筒照下洞穴里，医生也照进牧羊人的眼睛里的镜头，对比，生命和那些说不清的无限秘密。
整部片子并不无聊，但真的十分压抑，看到最后竟有胸闷的感觉，气氛的渲染很到位
