The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 完全情怀作，剧情简单的很，不就是复活后再打一遍。那些为人津津乐道的"哲学思想"不在了，没有袁和平，动作戏也难看的要死。不要再出续作了，让大家就此毕业吧。（2021-12-22）
华纳公开自嘲，估计也知道重启捞不着好，让尼奥复活，等于就是把前面的故事又整一遍，不过熟悉的墨菲斯、史密斯都变了样，能帅能打的尼奥胡子拉碴，朝气全无，像是从强威克的片场直接过来的，双掌一出，大招即来，集体怀个旧，真不如拍猫。
超越之前的经典是不可能了 矩阵重启就像是一场心理脑战 非常切题的解构重塑以及SF般梦幻 具有导演的意识流 也是没想到再见基努里维斯是这么个形象www 前半转场和剪辑乱糟糟的但后半十分十分精彩 忍不住感叹一句increíble 最后非常不喜欢Bugs 演员太拉了
好莱坞今年可就是连重启都不会了，只会拍一些同人了吗？从一开场墨菲斯那段就看笑了哈哈哈哈，剧院里面放蓝光也是看傻眼了，还不停地放。不会溜粉看看《复联4》怎么拍的可以吗？
感觉从科幻片变成言情剧，但情怀还是值得加一星吧。

我好意思说，今年我看过最烂的片居然是黑4吗？我避过了很多坑，无奈这部ip迈不过去啊[苦涩][苦涩][苦涩][苦涩]
虽然剧情烂，狗尾续貂，但至少还保留着大片卖相，有明星，有大场面，镜头、特效、服化道也都是大片水准，勉强能看进去。打戏和“子弹时间”明显弱了不少，很多镜头根本没有力量感，基努里维斯可能是老了，也可能是本来就不想拍这部烂片吧，所以出工不出力。主创团队对这种硬拍续集透支IP的行为也是深恶痛绝，台词里都自黑母公司华纳了，不过话又说回来，最后那段机器人版本的“丧尸潮”还是挺有创意的，虽然明显是华纳高层强加的爆米花元素，但爆米花就是好看啊。
纯粹摆烂到这种地步，已经说不出来话了，开头大量复用前作画面闪回本来就对观感影响极大，更不用说对非粉丝多么不友好了，结果我才发现，前面的剧情还算好了，后面完全是想一出演一出，节奏糟糕透顶，最终甚至连给观众一两场爽快的大场面都难以做到。
老公说是骨头里挑鸡蛋。宛如重拍了一遍第一集，一个半小时以后的剧情还好点。原来是引领时代的，现在是时代的屎。
陷入虚拟世界的尼奥和崔妮蒂（前三部曲的男女主）在众人的劝说和营救下返回现实世界的故事。整体上不仅枯燥无聊，而且自我重复。各种特效和打斗勉强加一星。PS：通过meta的方式揭露了“是华纳公司逼我们拍续集的”，这个idea有点意思。
观影过程中关注的重点是：史密斯特工穿的竟然是七分西装裤，果然时代不同了，很难想象雨果维文穿上的效果，以及最大惊喜莫过于导演暗搓搓叫了超感猎杀的卡司!!!就挺没必要重启的，中年爱情故事已经在小敏家看麻了…
《矩阵重启》中有好点子，而且很多，无论是时隔多年后重启故事的方式，对未来的展现，新奇的世界观构架，不毁前作的人物深层塑造，有些甚至好的让人拍案叫绝，但最终的效果只像是被粗暴地叠加在一起。它是如此的怀旧，以至于怀旧几乎就是它存在的唯一意义，一个小时断断续续的播片，对细节吹毛求疵的细节重现，导演、编剧和演员无一不在其中投入了大量的心血，这都改编不了它是一个不该诞生的续集电影的事实，影片也不止一次的讽刺了这种制片厂赶鸭子上架的压力，这个曾经那么先锋到震惊世人的神作，现在居然要带着镣铐被逼着跳舞，而且有那么一瞬间，它仿佛还真的宝刀不老，哪怕只有那一瞬间呢。
最喜欢就是借剧中人物吐槽华纳和讽刺现实那两段，另外，哪怕里面的中世纪叠加宇宙飞船舱内场景，救世主情结宣告创新已死，好莱坞对服道化的一丝不苟以及大场面调度能力还是让人敬佩。
不好说烂，第一幕一度让人感到惊讶，可惜越往后就越没劲了，最终不过是套黑客的壳填当下的料再讲一遍超感的核罢了。
曾在科幻概念、美术、动作上全面引领潮流的神作，竟然沦为全面的陈旧。它甚至连稍微拓展一下世界观都不愿意，真就用最过时的“失忆”套路把第一部重讲了一遍，还伤害了前作留下的多义性。
23/12/2021 @ 英皇時代廣場。可能入場早就做好心理準備所以沒想像中般差，但這劇本就真的像同人小說….前半段的自嘲算是最好看了
靠着“似是故人来”的心态撑着看完了，元电影元宇宙自我解构自我吐槽都不出所料。一个有趣的地方是，在尖端数字摄影机+HDR屏幕观看下，美感却全面弱于胶片摄影机+数字中间片时代的前作。另一个点是，女性要从家庭和孩子的牵制里摆脱出来才能走向 free will 重新起飞，还是很有现实意义的。
