The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 911事件20周年官摄。芝麻切口的恢宏巨作，固定场景的万千变化，单时间线的犬牙交错。用相当简单的故事写实了打破国别民族宗教文化性别生物隔阂的大爱，编剧跪服。一想到这个故事在世界上真实发生过，不禁对人类多了一分信心。
人文关怀满分！就是旋律不太抓耳，欠那么点儿意思。
小舞台，省演员，12人个个分饰多角，营造出人声鼎沸之感。技术上节奏明快，过场如飞，毫不拖泥带水，却一点也不突兀，有非常高水准。故事上就是一报告文学，却让人看得津津有味，灾难之际陌生人似乎更易释放善意，写得足够细腻。当然对于遭受更多苦难与灾难的人群来说显得似乎有些矫情。
太美好的歌舞剧了 只字不提911 奇妙的视角刻画了每一个人
看之前甚至不知道这是一部关于911的歌舞剧，前面还在想怎么会有这么奇怪的故事设定（籍籍无名的小镇突然迎来大量飞机和数千名旅客），反应过来后十分佩服这个“在别处”的视角。
灾难来临前的鸡毛蒜皮是生活的全部，人们活得恍恍惚惚、显得单纯幼稚。一旦灾难过境，人的善良、乐观和坚韧又常常爆发出惊人的能量。纽芬兰的这个小镇恰是如此。
回家的火车上看的，继《汉密尔顿》之后的第二部音乐剧。音乐剧这种东西，将音乐和剧情结合在一起，真的很有表现力，入坑了。小镇居民的援助，是人性中最原始的善的表达。
