剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     220508，在这个疫情严峻的当下，在隔离的房间里，这部电影给了我太多的喜悦、感动与希冀。第一次看这样的百老汇音乐剧录像，真的是绝好的现代艺术啊，一方小小的舞台，简单的布景与道具，却生动地表现了这样一个饱满的故事，厉害厉害。

    作为音乐剧倒是没有给我印象特别深的歌曲（机长姐姐的Me and the sky好听！），剧情也比较一般，主要是当年的真实事件很令人感动。在灾难面前，人们确实没办法忍受一直看新闻，而是会想在自己有资源的时候互相帮助，这是不分种族性向甚至动物权益的（穆斯林在那之后确实备受影响）。

    偶然翻阅截图相册，发现疫情前期已有小道消息说剧组要来华巡演，那时的期待如歌曲本身一般昂扬热切。孤岛壁垒被打破，大洋之上是平等众生共同奏响的波西米亚狂想曲，灯光汇聚每一角落，借由新时代流媒，远渡重洋的温暖故事，在这个似乎重蹈覆辙的严冬给人以鼓舞。

    舞台与影像的结合实属惊艳，舞台戏剧本身的魅力也充分表现，同一演员、同一空间表现出了多样的形式，在疫情后的第一场百老汇演出确实惊艳。但戏剧内容实在平庸，讲来讲去不过是娱乐至死至上的美国价值说教，戏剧演员的格式化表演也无法承受镜头的张力……网上看到一半自觉无聊便退场。

    可能真的接受不了音乐剧吧，看得非常煎熬。看到20分钟开始边刷豆瓣边看，最后还是没坚持到结尾。不太喜欢里面的音乐和主题（哎，还是喜欢一些黑暗类主题），感觉就像看真人迪士尼，不过看得出来演员很卖力。
