The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 真是以小见大的好作品！用纽芬兰小岛上的温情和爱来对抗人类历史上最具毁灭性的恶性事件，非常令人感动！对迫降事件后，社区各个层面的反应刻画得也非常还原。考拉唱得真好！
好看！音乐好听就不说了，一人分饰多角无缝转换身份就绝了！而且丝毫不会混乱。人性是——解除恐惧之后，本质全然美好。

911事件导致的连锁反应，人与人在危难之中的互助充分反映了人性光芒，政治立场就不太好评价了，毕竟是美国主旋律舞台剧。

该剧本很有国际化视野，讲述美国911时，38架飞机被迫降落在加拿大Gander小镇，7000多名世界各地的旅客滞留在此，小镇居民的慷慨热情感动了他们，在这里他们找到了一生的爱情、友情，人与人之间由隔阂转为彼此信任，音乐剧1小时起进入高潮，后面全是燃点，音乐好听感人，感觉可以反复听好多遍，最喜欢女机长单人solo那段，太霸气了。
十二位演员，十二把椅子，如此精彩！感谢官摄。

911事件衍生出来的一个温暖的故事，表现力非常强的音乐舞台剧。女机长的独唱最好听，为全片最佳体验时段不解释。非常期待能改编拍成现实场景的影片。
