The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 结尾很奇妙的升华了主题，爱真的是美好的不分性别的情感。遗憾，谎言，背叛，又或是死亡，好青春啊。
很好看也走心的类型片，完成度蛮高的，视听上一点不马虎，虽然剧本明显有一个套路，但拍的确实牵动人心，主要是节奏掌控很不错。这个剧本底子总想起《热天午后》，最后结尾想起《虎豹小霸王》。
自由的代价是什么？我不知道，拼尽全力，肝脑涂地。
种族隔离制度是所有人的噩梦，所有不平等的制度是人类的噩梦。
拍的过于立场化了，不喜，估计南非的观众口味决定的吧。

不知道自由是什么，反正需要付出一切，也许还不一定能得到。
看了本片再对比真实事件，这位编剧的水平是真厉害。黑人男主演和白人谈判专家演得都好。4星水平。北电的导演和编剧专业学生和老师应该观摩此片。冷门佳片，居然在豆瓣这么低的分。
今井翼的演技越来越好了，最后被分手难过演得很好；
不过也没有想象的无聊

但这类表达反抗的，种族歧视的，战争创伤的故事，却总是让我们不仅要反思，为什么我们会如此激动，为什么我们会感动或愤怒，时代明明在进步，可那些永无休止的问题为何却总是挥之不去，萦绕脑畔

这是我见过最温和的抢银行，这是我见过最。不害怕的人质。30年前的80年代的南非，到底是黑人说了算还是白人说了算？麦格拉在民众中的心目中的地位是如此之高。
