The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 原来以为我们是个石油国家，其实我们是个海洋国家。不是所有的资源都能获取的，正在开采的油井若干年后会出现灾难吗？人类应该谨慎向地下深处索取，努力发展太阳能和风电更安全。电影中人文情节也很不错，值得一看。
抢险、逃生的场景大多设计在局促或封闭的空间里，应该制造出紧张、恐惧、压抑的气氛，可惜本片有些松垮，观众很难入戏跟随着紧张；本片是有大的灾难和应急处置场面的，遗憾也没有展示出来。还有，自始至终画面昏暗阴郁，即使是灾难片，也不必非得如此，《泰坦尼克号》同是灾难片，画面不也很明快嘛。若此题材由好莱坞制作，估计会拍得更为宏大，冲击力更强，更能打动人心。5.7分。

还是迪士尼，从头套路到尾，看完心情好，不过这次模板套在了更前进的概念上，也算是有价值。还有这小男孩演的也太好了，一人撑起好几场戏，前途无量。
