The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 历史剧，解放曼德拉的之战，虽是恐袭演变的银行劫案，人性和种族自由的抗争以悲剧结束。穿插一场告密游戏。
電影其實很簡單，情緒也給予的很到位。但是缺少了這種困境式動作的緊張感，而且角色的成長其實都很突如其來，我不知道這部電影用了多少成本，但其有限的呈現方式，確實看得出電影再處理事件方式上很省略。
片中在银行中不杀人质很奇怪，对自己人毫不犹豫开枪，在中国类似事件警方并不会受绑匪威胁，而是直接封锁消息冲进去。一开始很期待三人在银行的表现，后面故事很让人失望。
自由的代价是什么？
第一人称和激励角度：你能为自由付出什么？答案是一切。这是个悲壮的故事，背后为了获得自由而牺牲的人们浓缩进了这部片子，它只是世界诸多为了自由而奋斗的人民的缩影之一；

黑人为了自由，为了自身不被种族歧视而抗争之路，在有白人的世界一直那么艰难。这部影片也拍的很真实，充满了人性的张力。《误杀2》似乎和这个真实的故事很有相似。
性少数群体也想做一个有幸福家庭的普通人，世界是有摩擦力的而不是理想状态的，大多数总是会对少数有着恶意不解和攻击，盼望每个人都在不断前进成长不再迷茫，男主演技有些不好。
