The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 部分事件冲突设计下九流道道在这个剧里很奇怪，十分违背。
剧作塌得一塌糊涂，第一次坟头拼刀前走势良好，分镜在线。可惜了。“我是捕快的儿子”，emmm

不评分了，看了一半出门留给父母看了。动作场面缺把劲。
武戏看的直呼过瘾，好久没看到这么地道的武打电影了，最后鬼刀林说的一句“命运都是幻象，一切早已发生”堪称画龙点睛。也就证实了开头所讲述的，刀口这碗饭，端起了就放不下。想改变的命运，最后又回到了最初的轨迹。网大里可以吊打很多院线的作品了。

这个剧情如果是20年前，算是佳作。现在看的话就一般了。最后的决战勉强及格，其他打戏都还不错。尤其是坟头决斗，算得上大师级了。
武打场面干净利落不拖沓，有绣春刀的那种感觉，剧情比较一般，五星给武打和对导演的鼓励，对演员的肯定
