The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 梦工厂有可能是给小孩子的，但对于xp的把控是永远精准的。故事确实比较老套，但松开领结的wolfie+rockwell在一个鲁邦三世类型的剧情里，加上数不清的致敬设计，真的很难不爱

故事惊喜，笑点密集，喜欢这种3D和2D结合的画风，但是几个主角的形象设计辨识度有点不够，和疯狂动物城有点串戏，结局有点爆发力不足。
很简单的故事，很好猜的套路，但就是能很好抓到我的笑点，能够让我放轻松哈哈大笑两个小时。不得不说，黛安狐太有魅力了，很喜欢她的打斗场面。
#金馬影展2021 無與倫比!!!!!!!!!!masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!他在這裡道盡了一切，家族婚姻戀愛性志業人生，所有的一切在Napoli發生被觀看被記錄，是導演站在河邊說的你看看這片土地上沒有你要記錄的嗎，唯有縱身一躍，以自己的生命與時光歲月摩擦才可獲得勇氣和愛。氣氛開始轉變差不多是電影中部，馬拉度納的「上帝之手」那一踢出現時，是公爵夫人說的你不會知道別人家發生了什麼，就在全國歡呼時這個家族開始剝離前半段的快樂美滿，再也沒湊齊的餐桌和夏日。我太喜歡了，看完後一切都不重要了，後面的蔡明亮也可以不必看了！
索伦蒂诺的私影像，前半段家庭群像行云流水，聒噪的聚会和性感的小姨勾勒出了那不勒斯回忆，可能不及费里尼魔幻癫狂，但把马拉多纳转会植入到时间线里更具实感，直到意外发生，回归到少年心底伤痛，被上帝之手挽回的是戏里戏外人的生命，喜欢放烟花那场戏，浪荡儿的旅程亦是成长。
疯狂动物城后，大家都想做新一出的疯狂动物城，但是质量创意都不及，本片开头不错，后续算是中规中矩的叙事。没有大缺陷没有大惊喜梦工厂常规作品。
故事还是俗套的套路，人物塑造得生动形象，很有魅力。★★★☆
今年目前看得最愉快的院线电影，老套但快乐！听到奥卡菲娜的声音很难不想起O8😢

我们看到了悬崖飞车的时候。小家伙拽着我的胳膊。(⊙o⊙)哇！
如此工整的动画在2022显得弥足珍贵，乐呵乐呵就完了。
每当有导演想拍自己的经历的时候我大都觉得无聊，尤其是索伦蒂诺这样男性特质明显的。虽然他坦诚，但我不想听这些故事。
个人确实是不太喜欢，这个动画能看出想表达一定的成人内涵，但确实没体现出来，反倒更适合低龄人群观看些。前情交代不明确也不吸引人，后续情节就很俗套了，和自身预期差距挺大，左思右想也只能给到2颗星了。
似乎是少年成长故事，全场百分之八十都是老年观众（你瓣迷影口味重哦）
人物脸谱化还是比较严重，还是熟悉的套路。山姆罗克韦尔的声音还是很有辨识度的，最后拍拍小豚鼠的那个动作，真有魅力
还有她那个戒指 弄来弄去的 原来都是有伏笔。
