The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 同样一个套路，放在大洋彼岸拍就是情欲试探或是探索性觉醒再到“真我”挖掘，身体动了，心智也要觉醒；放到更“内”的影视制作语境里，自然也就顺其自然地发展成了“欧尼与小狗的快乐结局”这般糖水（因为再“过火”的演绎已经有那些小电影了，自然不需要那么做），对照起来看有意思。物料里的噱头最终被转嫁为李濬荣成功转型、用心良苦的几刻特写；徐贤“正直忙内”的团设在脑海里挥之不去，始终委婉把人推开。如同这最后不尴不尬的呈现，也看得一样在被束缚。
没有2020好看（影片和现实），未来不会更好、不会更差，就是那样

对比去年的《2021去死》，这部堪称狗尾续貂，风格保持一致，但辛辣味大减，也找不到多少笑点。也许因为这部更加美国本土化，也许因为中国越发和世界脱节罢，sigh~
