The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 孩子的回答就是这样，也许他们现在在一个动荡不安的时代，但是他们始终看到的是希望，是美好，是光亮！这样，受伤的心灵总能得到治愈！
看完之后联想到的是鸡胸肉，蔬菜沙拉之类的食物，奇怪。
如果要用一句话总结：这部电影是Mike Mills献给Urban America的影像prose.不同城市的印记随着镜头推进慢慢烙印在故事当中，而黑白的画面既产生一定距离，也让抒情变得隽永。电影的文学性却是比20 Century Women更加的直接（direct citation成了backdrop monologue）,非虚构的纪录片巧妙结合进叔侄二人朝夕相处的(chaotic)日常。也许成长最终都意味着情感的释放，坦然接受生活的苦难，怀着对未来的怀疑与恐惧正面迎接它的到来。虽然Phoenix和小男孩都贡献了上乘的表演，但于我而言感动都来自孩子们真实的采访---可能通过孩子的眼睛我们才能真正参透这世界去向何方，而未来也逐渐清晰，向我们呼唤c'mon c'mon.
比《二十世纪女人》还难看，不工作的无聊男人，不上学的欠抽小孩。整日拿着麦克风满大街采访，问东又问西，躺床上聊，坐家里聊。毫无重点，没有逻辑，漫无目的。这就是当下西方人的心境吗？巴拉巴拉巴拉......3
电影建立在大人应该时刻虚心向孩子学习并且理解他们的基础之上，这本身就是一个让人略不适的居高临下的视角，因为对这份“应该”的宣扬，正暴露了前者无意识里对后者的轻蔑。换句话说，把孩童的言语和所谓思想摆上台面作为“对象”理解和阐释，甚至将他们像先知一样供上神坛，企图作为对大人自我反思的替代，反倒是对他们存在的稀释——因为整个过程里只强化了“孩子是大人的凝视对象”这一论断本身，而不管结果如何，最终被满足的只是“观看者”的欲望。
看完有一点难过 不顺意的人 在人生任一阶段都可能重新体验“当小孩”的过程
想要表达对孩子们精神世界的关注，可他们的面貌恰恰仍是由成人想象出来的。

电影完成度还好。然，欲以孩童赤子之心救成人之饱经世事，我以为不可。
说实话还可以 打斗分镜很喜欢 导演努力了 虽然还是没有什么正经推理以及非常柯学但是剧场版这样已经习惯了🚬主题曲确实好听！！
挺不错的但是总是感觉前面几部最经典……回不来了
ps：这部片子让我感觉像是《罗马》那个孩子出生后的续～
